About Me...
My name is Carol Holbrow and I run MUSIC with MUMMY classes covering the areas of Paignton (including Marldon and Stoke Gabriel), Brixham and Dartmouth and I am a qualified Early Years Practitioner who also has a passion for Music! I grew up surrounded by music and singing, and from an early age I discovered the great pleasure that you get from music-making.
I played many instruments in my childhood, including the piano and the flute. Nowadays, I concentrate on the piano and am very grateful for my early introduction to music which has given me so much happiness and opportunities over the years.
I have worked in various early years settings including a local primary school where I delivered music to the Reception class children. And now, through Music with Mummy, I have been able to open up the world of music and early learning to the very youngest members of our community in my warm and welcoming, fun and friendly classes.
In addition to my private classes, I also have been taking regular music sessions for the children of the Beehive Nursery (Tower House School) in Paignton. The children there are having fun learning lots of new songs, discovering how to play different percussion instruments, and learning about basic musical concepts. There are definitely a few budding musicians in the class!
